Core Self Reclamation Therapy

CSRT is a new therapeutic model developed by SueAnne Piliero, PhD, focusing on healing the wounded self in order to reclaim one's core self and live more fully in the present moment. It asserts that everyone possesses an innate capacity for love, and by healing the wounded self, individuals can reclaim the inherent worthiness of their core, authentic self.

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy

AEDP, developed by Diana Fosha, Phd, emphasizes undoing aloneness through the therapeutic relationship, serving as a  container for transformative healing. The clinician facilitates the emergence of new, healing experiences, enhancing the client's resources, resilience, and vitality for life.

Teacher of Presence

Presence is a cultivated way of being in the moment, unencumbered by the past or the future - eternally in the now. I find Presence to be the aspect of my expertise that goes beyond my intellect, education and speciality trainings. Presence is what allows me to show up grounded and open, non-judgmental and able to hold an infinite amount of space and compassion for my clients to courageously go to the depths of their pain and trust that it is in their depths that true healing happens and their authenticity emerges.

My Approach

There is a saying that the wounded healer, heals. It is no surprise that the helping professions are inundated with wounded healers. What allows for some to accompany clients into the depths of their pain in order to transcend it, is the personal healing journey they have embarked upon themselves. When one summons the courage needed to turn inward and get curious about the pain they have been carrying, the pain that has kept them stuck in outdated ways of seeing themselves and the world, a profound shift occurs. An opening that brings them to their core, wherein lies their authentic self. The Self that has always been there, buried beneath mechanisms used to help keep them feeling safe in the world.

Turning inward with curiosity and compassion allows for a shift toward more presence, more clarity and more confidence. An expansive way of looking at life with more compassion and joy and wanting to help others’ feel that inner peace, too. Making a conscious choice to turn toward my pain, like turning on a light in a dark attic, knowing that things are less scary when illuminated, has allowed me to reclaim my authentic self. I tend to my wounded parts with love and compassion. This approach alchemizes my pain into my power, which is to help others heal and has been a gift that I am privileged to share. It has not always been easy, but it has absolutely been freeing and worth it, as I now move through life with much more clarity, confidence and ease. Allowing me to stay present and grounded in the midst of others' pain. If you are ready to experience a profound shift in how you move through life, let’s connect today.
